- Public Safety
If elected to represent Ward 3 Hal will work to ensure that our community has the public safety resources it requires. We must adequately staff and equip our police and fire departments.
-
Accessibility and Responsive Communication
If elected to represent Ward 3 Hal will always be available to communicate with citizens about their concerns. He has provided his cell number throughout the campaign for people to call and ask questions. This phone number WILL NOT change after the election. Hal will also hold regular ward meetings in neighborhoods throughout the Ward. Your council person should always be available and responsive to you.
- Water Supply
If elected to serve Ward 3 Hal will work tirelessly to ensure Norman has an adequate long term water supply. Hal will make sure that the City is maximizing all current available water sources and make sure the City secures new water sources that will adequately meet the City’s long term needs.
- Cooperation and Trust
If elected to serve Ward 3 Hal will work to make the city a strategic partner with the Norman Business Community, rather than a barrier or a hurdle to be overcome. Hal will work with citizens, neighborhoods and the City to ensure the City is adequately addressing existing concerns such as known neighborhood drainage problems and traffic safety problems. Our children must be able to play safely in their neighborhoods.
