
Hal Wm. Ezzell is of counsel with the law firm of Goolsby, Olson & Proctor, P.C. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. He is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. He is a member of the Estate Planning, Probate and Trust Section and the Taxation Section (Chairman, 1998-99) of the Oklahoma Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in the states of Oklahoma and Texas, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th and 10th Circuits and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Southern Districts of Texas and the Western District of Oklahoma.
His areas of practice include wealth transfer and preservation planning, trusts and estates, property tax, sales and use tax, business income tax credits and incentives, audit management and defense, administrative practice before the Oklahoma Tax Commission, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts and local taxing authorities and boards, and all aspects of tax related controversies and litigation.
